See the goats: it’s possible during your visit!

The shop is on the farm, and the goat house is just a little further down. When the goats are not out at pasture, you can go and see them, without booking and without paying: just come during shop opening hours and be a little lucky.

They are very curious, they will come to see you naturally. They are real stars and they love photos.

Three things to know

  • Beware of electric shocks, stay behind the wires and the springs, and do not put your arms over them!
  • Stroking is done with someone from the farm beside you, because of the guard dogs.
  • Leave your dog at home: Alaska and Sarah live with the herd and do not like being disturbed.

Get to know the herd

The shop is on the farm: the goats are never far away.

The milk follows the goats’ seasons

My goats give milk from late February to late November, and the shop follows. In winter they are on maternity leave: the kids are born in February, and the dairy restarts a few weeks later. A goat’s year tells this calendar month by month. The exact dates are announced on Facebook and Instagram.

What you will find in the shop window

In spring

The widest choice of the year, and the first grey tommes a few weeks after reopening. Easter hearts, then the Mother’s Day cheese.

In summer

The little cheeses for drinks, and the end-of-summer offer on semi-dry and dry cheeses. The taste changes with the pastures.

In autumn

The milk drops, the matured cheeses take over. It is the time to stock up before the shop closes.

Volumes taken from the farm’s posts.

I’ll let you know when we reopen

The date depends on the kidding, and falls towards the end of February. Leave me your address and I will write to you the day the shop reopens, and a second time at the end of the season for gift vouchers. Two messages a year, no more.

Thank you! On the live site, your address would join the farm’s list.
